1. Information We Collect
To provide high-performance game hosting and client management, DevHost collects minimal required data:
- Account Information: Username, email address, password hash (argon2/bcrypt encrypted), and assigned role.
- Transactional Data: Payment order numbers, UPI reference numbers (RRN), credit balance history, and invoice records. We never store raw banking pins or card numbers.
- Technical Metrics: Server resource metrics, Pterodactyl daemon connectivity, and support ticket correspondence.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process collected data strictly for:
- Provisioning and maintaining your game servers via Pterodactyl Panel API.
- Automated UPI payment matching and transaction credit settlement.
- Delivering important transactional emails (OTPs, service expiration notices, ticket replies).
- Protecting server nodes against malicious traffic, abuse, and brute-force intrusion.
3. Data Confidentiality & Third Parties
DevHost does NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to advertisers or third-party brokers. We only interface with necessary infrastructure providers (datacenter transit providers and SMTP relay services) strictly bound by confidentiality.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
When an account is deleted by an administrator upon your request, all linked server instances, allocated credits, and active configurations are permanently removed from our active database and hypervisors.
5. Security Measures
DevHost employs industry-standard encryption, strict access control, salted password hashing, and dynamic rate limiting to protect your user credentials and billing records.
